Horrible turning 28, but hey...I ran 15 miles on Saturday!!!

Ok, lets start with this, Can you tell i am in marathon mode. The Easter Egg i coloured is a 26.2 marathon egg. Sorry, it is a little blurry!

Speaking on marathon...Which i do alot, i ran 15 on Saturday!! The miles are getting up there!! Eric and Gina were down from Boise in Park City, so Eric was nice enough to spend several hours with me. Several hours that turned into the pitch black along the highway in Park City. We got a late start, so the last hour and a half, the only light i saw was from oncoming traffic. Probably not the most safe eh?. Maybe that helped because i could not see anything, so my legs just kept moving. We ran to the magic McDonald Arches, and can i tell you, that was a sight to see. After each of these long double digit runs, i am overwhelmed with emotion. It sounds dumb, but i have put in alot of time and dedication and it just overwhelms me to see how my body has reacted and how far it has come. 9 more weeks to my marathon and i cannot wait!

On Monday, i turned 28. It was a sad day. I hate birthdays! Sometimes i feel like i am being left behind in life. Have yet to find the man of my dreams and every year my uterus is shriveling up a little more! Ha! I know that may be too much info for some of you! Ha! Running has been great for me, it has helped me discover it is something i love and has given me more goals and has definitely helped me find out the person i am and who i want to become. Being alone on the road, gives you alot of time to ponder on life....

If you notice, there are no flames on my candle. Being the hygienist i am, every time i see someone blow out the candles, i think of all the germs and spit they may be blowing all over that yummy cake. I know, i think way to into it. Maybe i can start a new revolution! Ha!

Now this is a pic just to embarrass my brother Brett. I dont know where he gets it, but he makes me laugh. Glad he does not have a blog to retaliate!!!

These last three pictures are of my cousin Brooklyn. I got to go out to lunch with her and Aubrey last week and she is just the cutest thing. Another reason why it is great to live closer to home and family!

Jess you look so beautiful! I'm so proud of you and your 15 mile run. Happy Birthday to you, it was Taylor's birthday on Monday too. I guess I will forever remember you on your birthday. I laugh about the candle thing. I guess I just have never put that much thought into it. I guess I'm just a sucker for tradition in spite of all the germs...hahah.

I hope you got all my msgs (text and facebook) wishing you a happy bday....28! Fun! Hey, I would LOVE to have you 'in charge' of the blog!!!!!!!! But, I don't know what else to do! I added you as an author and figured you could take over from there. What is your GMAIL account? The whole reason it's attached to my name is because I went to write about how TP and I were living together and I had to sign in to post. Now it's stuck to me and I don't know how else I can change it. What can I do????

YEAHHHHH! I think I fixed it!!! Check it out and TOTALLY CHANGE IT UP!!! I was trying to make changes all over the place to make it work. It's all yours!!! =)

Happy Birthday! I am glad that you are so close to your goal. It gives me the kick in the pants I need. I have been slacking so badly. How do you get and stay so motivated?

Happy Birthday Jess! You are too funny about blowing out the candles! Don't you know that the more spit you get on the cake, the bigger piece YOU get? Duh.
15 miles is so impressive. Keep it up!

Happy Birthday, eh? Sorry I'm late, but I'm just now finding some time to check out these blogs. I can't believe you're gonna run a marathon! I'd die! Congrats, and good luck. You'd better contact me when you're up here, or else!!! I just may never forgive you! :) I should let you know that I've had to readjust myself to Canadians, since half of my class is from the not so great white north! ;) love ya Jess, take care! --Brad
