A couple months ago, i was reading my friend BreAnna's blog and in awe at the mad skills she has as an amazing Aunt. She made these cute puppet monkeys and baby blankets. This made me realize, that i am a loser. I can't sew at all. I always said it was a good thing i went to hygiene school because if my kid wanted a new blanket, i would just go out and let them pick one out and buy one. Then i found out
i was going to be an Aunt and decided it was time for me to become an awesome Aunt like BreAnna. Hence, a picture of my first baby blanket!! I am so proud!! It is my first, so it is not perfect, but remember, i have never sewn!! So yeah! Cool Aunt Jessica here i come! Thanks BreAnna for teaching me! I am open to more fun projects and ideas on how to be a cool Aunt!!
And i just love this picture. I spent last Friday with my cousin Jenna and her two boys Jake and Josh. Jake is wearing my bracelet, and Josh is wearing my necklace. They sported my jewelry all over Thanksgiving point and fought over who got to wear what! Needless to say, when we met up with Jesse (their Dad) he was not too happy to see his boys wearing jewelry and tried his best to confiscate them. Ha!! Boys will be boys!! :) ha!!

Way to go Jess, I always tell myself that I will become a miraculous seamstress as soon as I have kids, maybe I'll have to get some lessons from you!
Hey You,
I'm so glad that some of us are still blogging. Are you going to the utah meeting?
Katie
Oh good job, it looks great!! I think some of the quirks of the first ones make them extra special, lets just say my first one was not quite as successful as yours! good job!
What a cute blanket! I hate to tell you that to be an awesome Aunt you just need to buy the kids stuff and take them cool places and let them break all of the rules their parents have. Then you are cool! So don't worry about the skills you already have the skills of an awesome Aunt - money!
I love how Jake at least tries to make it look cool. We had such a fun time with you, I'm sure you've had your fill of the webbs for the next 3 months, but I hope you come back to visit soon.
I'm so impressed with your cute blanket, I'm crossing my fingers for a pink one.
