To Tri or not to Tri?? (Tri=Triathlon)

Ok, i am a dork. Today was the Ogden Valley Triathlon where my cousin Jesse and friend Mike participated in. Since Echo triathlon i have wanted to do another, but there is something, one big something that kept me from the race.... If i could have done the race and avoided the swim, i would have been all over this race. This little critter below is what scared me out of not only Pineview, but the race as well. It is called a Tiger Muskie.
Here is a crazy picture of one taken straight out of Pineview. They have two sets of very sharp teeth. Have been known to nibble, eat small dogs....

This is a quick little video of someone catching this crazy creature.

So due to this little creature, i dedicate this post to Jesse and Mike, of whom i am proud to know and look up to even more for not letting a fish like this get in their way of accomplishing great things. I can't wait till i am that hardcore! Jesse says he blocked out the Tiger Muskie... He did a great swim, improved his time from the last, so i am thinking, he either just plain rocks, or he really was thinking of that Tiger Muskie the whole time!! Ha! Personally, i think he ROCKS!! Thanks to Jenna too! I had alot of fun spending time with you! We always get a good laugh together! Love ya!

Jess, Taylor would laugh you right out of town. As you may or may not know, Taylor is a Valley person (meaning he's from the Ogden Valley) and he has gone fishing multiple times in the last month for muskies. Apparently it's a thrill of a life time and his brother caught one that was so big he could have fit his head in its mouth. However, when I talk about how creepy they are Taylor laughs at me and tells me how scared they are of humans. He says they hard enough to catch for that very reason. There has never been an attack on a human swimming in the water (or so I've been told). They were planted in Pineview to keep the Perch population under control. I hope this makes you feel better and I hope to see you swimming in the triathalon next year.

That is so funny Crystal, k- makes me sound even more wussy that they are scared of humans! Ha!! Still i guess there are worse things i can think of probably in Pineview, but i just seem to not be able to get past this big fish. You are cute! I hope i get a little more brave so i can keep up with the guys next year!! Ha!! Tell Taylor, to quite laughing! Ha ha!
