What?? Mr. Bojangles............
So, a quick background. I am known for having little critters fall into my window well and freak the heck out of me. So a couple of nights ago, i was awaken by some weird noises. I was for sure that it was someone trying to break-in and kill me! ha!! :) I lifted a blind and tried to peak in. It was too dark to see anything, but the noise kept me awake all night. That morning i woke up, peaked in the window well and lone behold.........Mr. Bojangles.
I ran up the stairs to tell my dad, but of course, when we came down to look. He was gone. So that night, i was determined to prove that it was a mouse. So, later in the evening, i waited patiently to hear the noises. The second i heard, i switched the lights and there he was. I got the camera out, yelled at my mom and the two of us watched him for probably two hours. I felt bad he was there with no food, so i ran upstairs grabbed some bread and water and chucked some down.
This picture above, is of him licking the water droplets off the glass. Mom yelled at me because i got water spots all over the window, but i think seeing him lick them off softened her heart.
This last picture is of Mr. Bojangles trying to escape. He tried so hard and would get so close and then fall to the ground. For two nights, i was awoke by Mr Bojangles, but could never find him the next morning. So Sunday, i was down in my room with the blinds open and down jumps a cat. I couldn't get to my camera fast enough, but i feared that the life of my new friend Mr. Bojangles was finally rescued and shortened by this stupid cat.

yeah Jess!! You got most of the story right, except the "My Mom yelled at me part." It was more of a statement that there was water on my clean window. But I do have to agree that he melted my heart as we watched him lick the water drops off the window. But now that he is gone....you got a window to clean. haha
You should have gotten a video of the cat eating him. :) Then you wouldn't have a window to clean, now would you?
So I don't know if I should be happy that the mouse is not keeping you up anymore or if I should be totally devastated now that he's gone. I have seen the Green Mile and it is super sad to think of Mr. Bojangles getting eaten by a cat.
If he really is Mr. Bojangles, won't he live forever? Hee hee!
That is the cutest yet saddest story I have ever heard. Well at least you won't be up all night and he is in "pet heaven."
Ew sick! I hate mice. I love how you played paparazzi for mr. bojangles though. Reminds me of when we had a mouse in our dorm. we named him harry potter and I didn't walk around in anything less than 6 inch heels util he met his demise...
R.I.P. Harry and Mr. Bojangles
"softened her heart". . .I loved that part. Jessica you definitely have a way with words, I love the way you think! My teeth are still "squeeky", love you!
